Wisconsin Engraving / Unitex Achieves ISO 9001:2008 Certification

New Berlin, Wisconsin – Aug 04, 2010 – Wisconsin Engraving services the tool and die and mold making industries providing mold texturing, 2-D and 3-D machine engraving, and specialty services such as duplicating, CNC machining, and digitizing.
With over 75-years of customer satisfaction Wisconsin Engraving has proven to be a leader in the texturing industry by continually monitoring and improving the quality of their services.
“Starting the process to achieve ISO 9001:2008 certification was a great way for us to validate what we have been offering our customers for years.” explained Pete Kambouris, sales manager. “It also makes us more attractive to future customers who are not as familiar with our quality of work. It lets them know that we are serious about the services we provide and investment in technology, organization, and other money saving strategies are a part of our company.”
Wisconsin Engraving worked with registrars American Management Technology to achieve this certification. AMtec is based out of Fontana, Wisconsin.
ISO 9001:2008 is an internationally recognized quality management system that insures a registered company's customers can expect a consistent level of quality. The system documents all important steps required to achieve the quality needed to successfully support their product from start to finish. Regular re-certification by a qualified registrar insures that the registered company remains within compliance to the system.
